Samsung: No Market for HD DVD Player

I still don't think that HD-DVD is going to make any headway with a cheaper player.

It's the HDTVs that are too pricey. People are waiting for the entire system to get cheaper before buying them, which won't be this year. But by next year I think they will be cheap enough for the price of the player to matter. But next year BD players will be as cheap as any HD-DVD player and still better quality.
