All these are editions that have Castilian, and therefore can be published in Spain, but do not have a release date. That does not mean that they are false. There are also movie cards that are part of a pack, but each title is created separately, because each one has different characteristics.

It is also used so that if someone is looking for a title in Spain, they know that there is an edition in Castilian and they must search in another country for the rest of the languages on the disc.

Could someone add Neon Genesis Evangelion: Revival of Evangelion (1998) as a separate movie in its own right in the database? While some would say that a compilation of Death[True]² and The End of Evangelion shouldn't merit its own entry, there are several reasons why it should be added:

It has its own IMDB entry, even if its description is somewhat inaccurate. It should read as: "A compilation of Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death[True]² and Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion."
It got its own Japanese theatrical run in 1998, just 12 months after "Death and Rebirth" did.
The version of Death that Death[True]² represents made its debut in Revival of Evangelion.
All Japanese DVD and BD releases of Evangelion since 2003 have included "Revival of Evangelion" (1998) as its own thing separate from "Death and Rebirth" (1997) and "The End of Evangelion" (1997). It even occupied its own disc in the 2015/2019 Japanese BD box sets, with "The End of Evangelion" on on a separate disc in its own right.
Most importantly, the upcoming Neon Genesis Evangelion box set releases set to come out in November/December will only feature the content of "Revival of Evangelion", even if it's only listed as Death[True]² and The End of Evangelion separately for historical marketing reasons.

The thing is that you can't properly assign "Death and Rebirth" to fill the slot that Death[True]² would otherwise occupy, as it's obviously missing the last 20+ minutes of the film (i.e. "Rebirth"). And you can't assign "The End of Evangelion" to fill the slot of "Revival" by itself, as it's missing Death[True]².

Here's some basic data that could be filled in for its Blu-ray.com entry:

Theatrical release date: March 7, 1998 (Japan)
Duration: 160 minutes

As for the cast/crew listing, the data for "The End of Evangelion" (1997) would be sufficient for carrying over to "Revival".

You created "Spanish Editions" based on foreign releases that have Castiilian audio included? And people in Spain seeking out one of your created editions must search other countries for the disc? Am I understanding this correctly?

On the one hand, if there is a record with Castilian, there are possibilities that at some point they will release in Spain, there are already precedents of releases that have taken more than 6 months but in the end they have arrived.

On the other hand, if someone looks for a title in Spain and sees that it does not have a release date, but that it has German, Italian, etc., they can look at an edition of those countries and import, it helps many people to be able to buy titles with security from that will have Castilian.

I think it has many advantages and no drawbacks.

P.D .: I have the foreign editions to verify that they have Castilian.

I don't think this is how it works, unless I'm mistaken? If you submit a Spanish release it should be authentic, confirmed and available for purchase or preorder. You are placing "shemps" (card holders) for the chance they might be released, or not.

How many of the editions you created actually became a legit release in Spain?

Well, if we take into account that the list is 20 pending, and that 4 or 5 have already become real, that is 20%. Possibly, this year some of those still pending will be realized.

Background: This was originally a placeholder meant to be used for Bundle ID purposes to link to the Ultimate Edition and Collector's Edition.

The reason for that is because GKIDS and Shout! Factory are NOT releasing the TV series, End of Evangelion, and Death and Rebirth separately, it's one complete bundle only. This happens pretty regularly with anime where stuff is bundled together that isn't being individually released because of how anime production differs (A few examples: Samurai Troopers, Gundam Seed Destiny, Armored Trooper Votoms).

People decided to instead of creating a new entry for the standard edition decided to turn that into the standard edition (note the ASIN now attached to it) and some are not realizing that it contains the TV series AND the 2 movies, and some are also now using it for Bundle ID purposes creating a mess of bundles within bundles. Thus, a new TV placeholder needed to be created to create proper bundles. Mine got approved quicker and has more details, so that should probably be the one to stay.

I've also now got pending edits to the Standard Edition, Collector's Edition, and Ultimate Edition which will hopefully fix this mess once and for all and so everything will properly show up in people's collections because again, nothing is being individually released, it's a bundle only.
