Any idea why Vertigo and Rear Window steelbooks are Best Buy exclusive when The Birds and Psycho steelbooks were not.

Those first two are almost soft BB exclusives I'd say. If you look around at the major retailers, pretty much only BB consistently has them in stock.

When I worked at a large chain store that sold DVDs and BDs, yes we would send them back to the warehouse if they arrived looking like that. Customers don’t want to pay for a damaged product, believe me. And those steelbooks are definitely damaged.

Yeah, I should have added a 'now' in that post. I don't really know why BB seems to be the only one consistently having it in stock now.

I had actually brought it up in the Rear Window thread back in July.

I know best buy management doesn’t seem like they would care aboiut damaged items like steelbooks but the amount of rising damaged steelbooks has me concerned

I sent them all back. They should know that no collector would buy these.

Most steelbooks have an ispu option pop up the day of in the early morning hours.
