Marvel in the US and UK were a good hope for awhile there for blu ray 3D. At least Japan is releasing something for Black Widow 3D, as high priced as it is. Hopefully they'll follow it with Shang Chi 3D blu ray.

The mostly medium layers of 3D for Shang Chi would make me want to check out the movie again at home if there's a blu ray 3D at a reasonable cost, but without 3D, I don't need to own this one in 2D even though I liked the martial arts action.

I’m fine with the 3d Bluray. Thanks!
Hopefully there's not someone standing in the theater with a water gun next to the audience member, as that video suggests. That wouldn't be good. I have heard 4XD is a fun movie/ride experience overall, but outside of theme parks, have never been to a 4XD theater yet.

You're giving them too much credit assuming sales of physical media remain a priority for the studio leadership

Finally i went to see the movie in imax 3D.
Great movie, great story... some jokes in the beginning didn't work but then it went warp speed and the movie was really fun and emotional while building shang-chi background.
The movie was full imax all the time(nervous if Disney has to crop it because imax demandings for 3D disc if it ever come to arise).
Loved the bilingual use of speech and narration.

Are you for real? You know that demonstrations of affection from their costumers work better to a company like Disney that lives giving emotions to it's costumers than buying random discs that you can't make an emotional bond? And if only few sent... i believe that those few made the difference... because now you are able to feed on the spoils that others worked hard. Looks like that your way has been giving fruits... lots of canceled movies and corporations abandoning the format... kudos.

One and only.
Had to go on road trip to see it.
But what a ride... I loved the mythical creatures.

I know people at Disney. They look at sales not your emails. But if it floats your boat, keep writing until your fingers bleed.

You’re making up stories…I never wrote that “sales of physical media remain a priority for the studio leadership”.

The mythical creatures are all based on real Chinese mythology, apparently. I'm very excited that at last we got an MCU movie that isn't kind of Eurocentric or based on some kind of alien or imaginary world.

You didn't write that, explicitly, but it is the underlying assumption behind your argument.

Nowhere else excepts for Japan in an unannounced move is releasing Black Widow 3D... sure... Disney was really going to release this if people didn't write them.

That’s correct. These decisions get made well ahead of the Bluray release. But you obviously don’t know this. That’s okay. I’m here to teach you.

I read somebody telling that the post-credit scene was 2D only. I believe it was 3D because one could notice the depth between objects and the characters there.

A simple yes or no will suffice.

The 1st one is in 3D, the last one is 2D flat only.
