Just watched the 3D version - it was pretty nice - say, 4.5/5. Although the 3D is a trade-off to the brighter, richer colors of 2D.

What is the spray paint to the mouth/ teeth about?

Thanks

Chroming. In the movie universe, essentially getting high before going to Valhalla (read: death)

I love how there's no explanation for that in the movie but we still understand that it's a brief ritual they do before dying. Max sees this when Morsoth decides to take the plunge after getting an arrow in the face during the tanker chase, and later on when he sees Nux do the same thing in the sandstorm scene he now knows that Nux is about to top himself, hence him trying desperately to smash in the rear window as soon as he spots it. Witnessssss!

Digital HD code for whomever:

[edit]: I notice that it says "Must Redeem Code By 12/31/19" -- not sure if this one will work still. I've seen them work past the expiration dates though.

Is the B&W version really worth sitting through?

If you enjoy black and white cinematography, then yes I think it looks really good, If you prefer color and are just viewing it as a chore, probably not.

Gutted, his presence in both Mad Max movies was incredible.

Neither. Fury Road is its own thing. Prequel comics try to bridge it, but it's really best to look at FR as independent of the trilogy.

The car?
Mad Max ends with him driving a new car.
The Road Warrior he is driving the car and a little beat up and gets destroyed.
Mad Max Thunderdome no car in it.

Didn't his car also get destroyed in Fury Road? I don't believe it's intended to be part of the continuity.

Though I've heard a fun fan theory that Tom Hardy's Max is the feral child from Thunderdome, which explains why he's so weird and almost never talks (And one would assume he styles himself after and takes the name Max after spending time with him).
