It's mentioned in the booklet: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...0&postcount=64

FiM have been encoding every Carlotta BDs (and now UHDs) for some years now, save a couple of exception like Crash UHD.
There is Credits section on every of their disc, that's where David M / FiM are mentioned.

Is Carlotta's blu-ray of Edward Yang's Taipei Story also a FiM encode? The other day I opted for the Arrow UHD of Abel Ferrara's King of New York over Carlotta's, since French boutique labels don't always have the best reputation, but I didn't realise until today FiM and Carlotta had such a close relationship.

Proof that HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER is a David M. compression job and, let me tell ya, for a roughly 35 year-old independent 16 mm film, it looks glorious. All. That. Delicious. Grain! Don’t mind the scribble in the upper right-hand corner; I added that over nudity to avoid upsetting any moderator sensibilities.

Last HENRY post, I swear, but using my iPhone 12 Pro Max, I captured screenshots of both the Dark Sky Films 30th Anniversary Blu (left) and the new Carlotta (right) and zoomed up this shot to help give a sense of how David M. compresses like no other. Frankly, the 30th Anniversary was no slouch, and did a pretty commendable job handling the copious grain, but the Carlotta, as expected, takes it up to the degree of perfection.

I'd definitely be interested in this, as well, if anyone can answer. Either way, I will likely order the Carlotta soon because I'm very keen to see the film and no bad thing to brush up on my French.

Andantelise is in charge of updating the list, and then I post it. Both of us aren't doing this in any professional capacity. We are just two enthusiasts maintaining a list/resource that is as accurate as possible, based on what information the community has available to it.

If you have a problem with the frequency at which Andantelise is updating. By all means send him a PM. But try and understand, please, it's a minor miracle we even have a list as it currently is at all.

It comes with French subs only but I assure you they are not forced.

Purrty sure you mean French! Says on the back of the case. Just pointing this out in case anybody expects Italian subtitles out of it.

Well I'd not be surprised if the forums favourite Okie doesn't know the difference between French and, Italian
