But that is not an indicator of how long it would take between "No Time to Die" and the next Bond film.
![]() Plus, "No Time to Die" had to come out a while ago. It's been a long time since it was finished. It just kept getting delayed. They might already be in the early pre-production stages of the next Bond or at least thinking of the new casting by now. ![]() |

Bond movies used to consistently come out every 2 years back in the day. It shouldn't be THAT hard to give us a Bond flick every 3 or so years, with how many big budget CGI-fests there are yearly. Not counting pandemic delays, NTTD was going to come out 4.5 years after Spectre!

I'm being very conservative in my estimate because this one will most likely not make a profit and it may be difficult for the producers to line up financing for the next movie. |

I thought they were saying the promotion for NTTD was reaching a record promotional frenzy since Craig is done in the role.

Cleaning up after my foster kittens can be exhausting...and then I see guys who are much older than me with the stamina of a 30 year-old. I know movies are supposed to be an escape and not necessarily realistic, but sometimes it's just ridiculous.

I never said I know that. But that is the point. None of us know for certain. It could go into production faster or slower.
We can't necessarily use the gap between the last two films to estimate as you implied. ![]() Last edited by Kylo_Ren; 09-25-2021 at 07:40 PM. |

I don't think 007 is like Superman, who probably needs to look 40- unless they're going for one of the rare stories where Kal-El has actually aged.

Well, I'd say at the very least, there is a strong likelihood he'll be in his mid-40s, if not exactly 45, by the time the next movie is released

Old Man Bond is fine, but I don't think they need to continue it.
I'd love to see a 27 year old Bond in a period film. Don't remake Casino Royale, but just give us peak Bond action. An interesting possible subtext of the newest movies is that there seems to have been a significant amount of time between Quantum of Solace and Skyfall. I think it feels like 10-15 years have passed and the new 00 agent had become the veteran on the edge of being too old. You could conceivably fit all of his previous adventures between those two movies. |
