Hi Def digest put up a Facebook post about it. They have review copies of 1 and 3-5.

I just saw Hi Def Digest's post on their Facebook page with a picture of parts 1,3,4 & 5 with the shrink wrap still on the cases.

Watch these Shout editions really be the last physical release for these old Halloween films. No more complaining, no more mono talk, no more disc replacement programs, no more 45:00 disc tests on 4 different players. This is it, we are living in the golden years.

I hope part 2 comes out on time. That is the highlight for me of these releases.

Saw the pic….

I was under the impression that the cases for these would be in chipboard style limited editions much like their Creepshow release?

Looks like they are just standard slips. Might just be hard to
Make out from low quality image but could be the rigid chipboard style slipbox?

Honestly not sure where you got that impression. Pretty sure they were clear these were standard releases from the get-go.

This is the first 4K UHD to be released twice to the UHD format in USA yes?

Lionsgate then Shout? Any other 4K's have this happen yet for US?

Back when they were announced i read some posts someplace that someone confirmed with them that they cases would be high quality chipboard like their Creepshow edition or maybe at least a slipbox.

I didn't imagine it. Possibly a twitter post discussion. And someone also posted it on one of the halloween threads also but of course no way I will dig to find it. Haha

I think they are chipboard. In the comments under that pic they said, "the slipcovers are a hardstick book slip." So... I hope that clears up any confusion.

They still look like slipboxs to me when I open the picture full scale.

It was stated from pretty much day one that these would be in slip boxes.

All I know is if I would have paid $300.00 direct from
Scream factory and they end up being their usual low quality slipcovers I’d be beyond pissed.

That being said I kept hoping that top grey border stating it was a 4K etc would have been for promo purposes and covers would have just been artwork with 4K stickers on the plastic wrap.

That top grey border is so cheap looking. I know some hate the covers but they look a lot better if you remove that top border.

Let's all hope they didn't have a slip-up. That artwork belongs in the Smithsonian.

I went back to their facebook page and I’m not on facebook so I can’t get a better larger image… but trying to look close at the bottom of cases they might just be the chipboard style, it’s just hard to make out.

Not by two different labels that I'm aware of. But Sony did issue two different 4Ks of Labyrinth.
