1) Since it wasn't the final cut, it's doubtful there is a conformed print. That workprint would've been chopped and changed on the Steenbeck. Most of the excised stuff would've just gone into the bin. Even if there was a full print, it would only be from dupes which are pretty rough and difficult to tidy up. See the extended cut of The Blues Brothers.

2) The o-neg of the excised scenes probably lives in a vault somewhere. However, the condition is a big question mark - it might have deteriorated if not stored properly. Restoring those scenes means going back to the o-neg, scanning it all in, cleaning it up, and actually editing everything. Very costly for a movie that not many people actually like.
