I do not care why Lee maintains the Home Video Sales thread; I am just glad that he does. No one else was stepping up to do it and that includes all of those that are passionate about physical media. Maybe the reason why no one offered to do the job is because we just don't like the news we are getting week after week, year after year? Running that thread can be an especially thankless job when so many want to kill the messenger.

ordered these this week:

I also ended up getting The Da Vinci Code for free, since a seller sent me that instead of Angels & Demons and refunded me. I watched Love and Monsters and Point Break (2015) this week. They were both pretty enjoyable, especially Point Break. I don't get why it gets so much hate but I haven't seen the original. The stunts and audio were amazing! I might watch Lamb or Free Guy in a theater next week.

It's against the rules to post here as someone trying to discourage or put down the Blu Ray format but at least having a villain here does keep us on our toes. We can't debate without someone to debate with.

It's been going on for far too long to hope it's going to change.

If you feel that strongly about me Brian I definitely recommend you bring this matter to the attention of the Mods. Let them decide what's what.

Of course, when they see it's nothing more than a tempest in a teacup, you run the risk of getting banned yourself. They don't like false accusations against members.

Nothing he has said is false imo.

I bought it as an upgrade to my DVD, which should guarantee a blu-ray release announcement at any time.
Watched The Village via iTunes on the ATV and have no major complaints. There was some banding in the opening scenes. Could be source, stream, my gear or combo?

I posted both of these articles in this thread. I do believe no one even commented on them.

Target is opening near me soon! I'm hoping to buy discs there. My Walmart is stocking more DVDs than anything else lately.

I remember when there was no Home Depot, Best Buy or Target without going 50 miles.

I waited outside when BB opened. These days my BB really looks like they would rather close. They are big on driving customers out of the store which is ok I guess given the current issues.

Don’t expect a big selection at the store. The promo is something I always take advantage of online, but I may swing by before work occasionally to pick up a major new release.

Does not mean folks did not read the articles or appreciate your efforts. IMHO, if you continue to be positive in you posting here things will change and posters will take you more seriously.

I believe most of us know it is easy to be an AH on any forum but it takes some effort to contribute in a positive way.

With that lets all try to get back to BD vs EST and not get personal.

I believe you will find a much larger selection in Target's online than the B&M. Same with Best Buy. In recent times both have emphasized their etrade business. It appears Walmart is doing the same even after installing all those new big disc displays.

He's flaunting breaking the rules.

And if personal attacks is an ok one to break then I'm just out. I can't deal with it because it's just wrong.

Signing off .... hoping it's just taking a while for mods being the weekend.

Good Luck,

Brian

I need to walk away and will do. I’m not particularly offended, but I’m aware it drags everything down.
