It would be interesting if they got the Rob Zombie films since those are now the only other films (besides the new ones) that haven't gotten the Scream Factory treatment yet. Could include theatrical since those were missing from the set.

Not sure if they could get any of the Miramax titles outside of boxset rights only, and I doubt they would have bothered releasing the first five individually if they had to do another box set.

Yeah, I would love to see the Rob Zombie theatricals as those have never been released in the US. I have Canadian double pack, but would love individual releases for those.

I'm rooting for Shout/Scream to get the rest of them and do individual releases in matching packaging like this. I don't need a box set if they do the whole run in slipboxes in 4K.

Does anyone know if Shout plans to re-release Leviathan at some point? Considering importing the Spanish Blu-Ray but know once I do someone will announce it lol

I keep checking in on the various Halloween 4K threads and I am seeing complaints.....

Are the Hallween 4k's worth picking up or are they riddled with issues? Everyone seems divided.

They have some encode issues, but they are by far the best looking versions.

I'd buy regular blu-ray releases of Halloween 4 to Resurrection if they gave each release the same art as II & III.

They are stunning 4K transfers. Stunning. I can only recommend picking these up if you're a fan, even if you own the boxset. They blew my mind.

I'd love to chime in with my opinion, but.... mine have yet to ship...

At this point, I'd consider it a win if I can just get them before the actual holiday of Halloween.

I always thought these spooky sales should take place in September since the orders take so long to be fulfilled. . .

Curse was released in Japan on BD. I wonder if that release has the lost workprint.

New announcements generally occur between the 7th and the 11th each month. We've already gotten December's announcements this month however and so officially we need to wait until November for our next bath of announcements for January.

That said, Scream Factory did state that they planned to announce/release 2 additional exclusive's this month on their website though no date was given as to when those announcements would occur. Since those announcements are a bit different in that the moment they are announced they also go up for sale on Shout Factory's website, they could literally be announced at any time. As things currently stand the 19th of this month is currently empty for new releases and so if I were to place a bet, I'd wager that the announcement will happen next Monday or Tuesday, however that's pure speculation on my part and so the best you can do is to keep checking back here regularly each day as the moment those titles are announced they'll be noted here as well.

There've been a lot of posts/criticism regarding Quality Control of some boutique labels, Shout/Scream Factory included. It seems like at this point it would be to their benefit to return to their early days where their releases were fewer and further between. This would give them more time and opportunity to do a proper QC check so that they could fix issues like the most recent Halloween II glitch before having to send them out the door.
