Any thoughts/reviews of AMC+? How is video quality and do they play unedited versions of movies?

Does it actually have Romero's Dawn of the Dead?

This is the only way so far that I’ve gotten 5.1 sound from most of the non-original Shudder shows. The Sundance, IFC, and Shudder content is unedited.

I watched Kevin Can F Himself but I never compared it to the broadcast to see if it is different.

Shudder has more Shudder content and is better organized but only is 2.0 Mono/Stereo.

AMC+ has AMC, Sundance, IFC, BBC America, and Shudder content but it is a but clunky. Also, if Shudder has a special livestream event then you’ll have to wait until it completes and is on demand. You do get 5.1 Surround from some shows and movies.

AMC+ is having a Black Friday special: $1.99 for the first 12 months billed in one payment of $23.88. I ended up cancelling AMC+ through Apple TV to save $84.

Very tempting. I already have access to more stuff than I can watch, but for that price I can catch up on a few things that I've missed (like The North Water) ...

Was going to do the deal but it has horrid reviews - can anyone confirm how the app is on Apple TV?

Subscribed to the Apple TV Channel.

It has AMC plus Shudder, Sundance Now, and IFC Films Unlimited.

Live TV channels from AMC Networks are also available.

Neat experience so far.

A screenshot of my Apple TV app for Windows with the AMC+ channel opened:
