I dunno if it’ll actually look bad in motion. The average movie is 24 frames per second and while we like to kid ourselves, one frame usually don’t make much difference.

Wasn't Black Panther cgi in Civil War too? I remember hearing that they used a real suit on the set but replaced it with cgi.

That's what I meant. Adding extra CGI in Black Panther kinda cheapen the suit a bit.

It's not spoilery if it's from Empire. Besides, Empire isn't really telling us anything new anyway. Just more pics of Doc Ock and him squeezing Peter's head. Also confirmation on Raimi's Sandman and Webb's Lizard being in this. Again, nothing really new.

Oh and another thing, Tom Holland may be incorrect about Doc Ock's testicles being 100% CGI.

Well that explains why Ock looks terrible, because it isn't the real one.

But seriously, the version without Ock looks better. Unless they are going to render Ock to look photorealistic.

Someone who has the latest Empire magazine early and leaked it said Doc Ock looks pre-CGI in the new pics.

Ideally, Doc Ock will be handled like he was in SM2, where in scenes where it makes sense the arms will be practical effects. The problem is that the all-CGI version of him doesn't look any better than a film that came out 17 years ago, and maybe actually looks a little worse.
