Why does the site still say 1.78:1 is the OAR for the Whitaker seasons? 2.00:1 is the OAR as per the discs.

Based on previous precedent, I'd say that this will include Revolution and Flux; the final three Whittaker specials will then be released individually, followed by a 'box set' of them all together. It will be interesting to see how they handle series 14 onward if this release is simply titled "Flux". Actually, they'd probably just go "Series 12, Flux, Series 14" and collectors would be forever mildly annoyed.

It looks like the original AR for the series as a whole is set by a single drop down, and there's no option for 1.78:1 and 2:1 together. If you set it to 2:1, the older seasons would no longer be correct.

I'd imagine it'll be Series 12, Flux, Series 13. Just like it was Series 4, The Specials, Series 5 and Series 7, The Anniversary Specials, Series 8.

Series 13 is just Flux, though, according to the BBC's own episode guide. Or are you suggesting that they'll release Flux by itself and then a "Series 13" set with all ten episodes from 2021-2022?

Fair point. Although I was following on from the numbering system used by the new series.

This is a better point.

I forgot that next year's episodes are most comparable to the Tennant specials. This years episodes have the overriding series title of Flux with each episode having its own title. So, I reckon we'll get either...

Doctor Who: Flux
Doctor Who: The 2022 Specials
Doctor Who Series 13

Or, more likely...

Doctor Who: Flux
Doctor Who: The 2022 Specials
Doctor Who Series 14

I think the latter, definitely since this was supposed to be a series 13, it was just COVID that forced changes. The '22 Specials are comparable to the Tennant specials I believe in that they were greenlit as specials rather than series.

Plus, in the future Big Finish will do adaptations of the originally planned series 13 as they did with the original season 23.

Because it's under new doctor Who. If changed , new Doctor Who OAR to 1.78 and 2.00 on the database then Doctors 9,10,11, etc would say OAR 2.00 too
