I'm probably going to wait for reviews from members that confirm there's no issues with the transfer and that the mono is the real deal.

I'm not sure if a 4k stream from MGM is available but I recommend giving it a once over for color space problems. If it's fine I assume the disc will be too.

That this is a new transfer supervised by De Palma is promising, but it's probably just new to Kino. Likely the same Criterion transfer.

Are they re-scanning it in 4K? Criterion (or maybe MGM) already did that for their blu-ray release, but that release doesn’t mention 16-bit in the liner notes.

I don’t really like DTK, but I’m open to revisiting it if the UHD is free of errors.

After the disaster that is SOTL with no disc replacement program in sight, and all of KL Insider's shenanigans, I'll wait for customers' reviews first. If all is well I'll grab it from a third party some time.

Let’s just hope it isn’t that transfer Criterion released with some shots tinged in that teal gross greenish color.

I stuck with the Arrow blu for that reason alone.

And let the original Mono audio be real mono and not some 5.1 downmix. Don’t need another Silence/Lambs 2.0 Stereo mishap.

Also did Dressed to Kill have that cool Filmways opening logo or was that Blow Out? I think Dressed should have had it also but I dont think it was ever restored.

Yes, the Filmways logo was on the Criterion blu ray.
