This girl reacted to Halloween in a first-time viewing. I think her reaction is mostly genuine, even though it's quite animated. It did remind me of how I've heard people reacted to the movie in theaters back in 1978.

That's what makes it fun, she had to turn off Halloween and The Shining in the middle to get the courage to continue. It reminds me of how I reacted when I was 6.

She's got 1,888 Patreon subscribers at $3, $6, or $10 a month. So she's bringing in from $5,664 to $18,880 a month just for watching movies, in addition to YouTube ad revenue. No removal of clothes required. More power to her.

I can’t speak to the 4K disc as I haven’t got the equipment for such but watching the included Shout blu-ray something seems off. Maybe just my eyes but seems bit out of focus in distance or background shots and also at times almost sped up a bit like when young Michael is going towards and around the house at the beginning? I dunno maybe I’m cuckoo. The colors are bit more vibrant than the grayed out 35th disc but again doesn’t seem as sharp and natural. Also noticed when Loomis and Bracket go into the Meyers house that the Shout disc is a full 30 seconds or better ahead of where the 35th disc is at that point. Must be some explanation for such.

It’s been reported that the new disc is 35 seconds longer than the 35th due to the opening logos that were added.

It's encoded in a dual mono 2.0 track perhaps? The OPPO can only 'see' the channels it's being presented with, e.g. 2.0, so it thinks it's a 'stereo' track.

I watched this last night and I feel like this is pretty much the best I've ever seen this movie. I wasn't even this wowed when I saw it in theaters the last few times. This is great.
