Would it make sense to include the digital with the physical purchase I mean for Amazon?
I've gotten some cds with digital copies from amazon and it wasn't that bad of a thing.
Anyway would it be cost prohibitive to do this? I mean maybe it would make Amazon more money or something. I rather have physical anyway but it's a nice thought.

I'm reading look at all the money thrown away. Recent example, Underworld box set $60. Sold the codes for $25. Thats almost half the price of the set.

Since y'all are anime watchers, anyone wanna spend $10.75 for robotechs code?
It's just sitting uselessly in the case.
I listed it in the code thread, but never got a response

A lot of people here give away anime codes for free, which is why you probably didn't get much response. I would try reddit.

Who thought that would be a good idea? Feels like they just picked colors randomly by flipping a few coins. It looks silly.

Anyway, it looks really bland, especially for the asking price and the thick generic blue amaray boxes. At least make an effort and pick black or white ones, to add contrast.

Well, Yellow and Purple are my two most favorite colors, so they evidently made the set specifically to favor my tastes, lol.

I do agree with you that the CE set is awful butt-ugly and bland. Digipaks would have spruced the set up nicely, though. I only bought the Zavvi set to have something to store the discs directly on my media shelf for regular viewing - I'll have the UE set with all the pretties to put on display.

Didn't at least the US mockups for the CE have clear cases?

Anyway, I'm a bit curious to see what the subs on these sets look like, seeing as MediaOCD produced the discs. I'm used to very plain subs on GKIDS releases, but I know they produce a lot of stuff for Discotek, often involving more elaborately formatted subs.

My collector’s edition arrived from Zavvi today.
100 quid cheaper than the ultimate edition and a month earlier?

I grabbed the ultimate because I've never had any of the other limited releases. Even trying to find one usually ends up around the same price to get to me anyway.

I want to buy one of these releases so bad, but I wish I could get Fly Me to the Moon and these don't have it. Is there any way to get EVA on Bluray with the proper credit songs? I looked into the B07SC9WCST ASIN release but that has no English subtitles, apparently.

There does not exist an English friendly release with Fly Me To The Moon. You either give up the song or Subtitles.

Ew pls no

Hate digipacks...
If it's just a normal fold one, it's okay I guess, but the tri-fold and more ones are so annoying, unfolding them in your arms to get out a disc, can be cumbersome. They're also more prone to wear as opposed to regular amarays. Cardboard can get damaged/dented, and the plastic disc holders can come unstuck. I'm not a big fan.
