Best Studio Ghibli film?

So I recently updated my entire Favorite Studio Ghibli Movie list for another anime forum. I rank, by my personal tastes, all 24 Ghibli movies found in the Japanese Silhouette digipak series - including Castle of Cagliostro and now Earwig, since it is being added to the series on November 1st. Eh, so why not post it here since this thread has been stale for so long, and since I can't change my original vote in the poll!

I have adjusted my rankings a bit since I last posted my favorite movie here in 2015. When Marnie was There is now my most favorite Ghibli movie, with most everything else just shifting down a notch, along with a few other re-arrangements. As I've stated before, I prefer the "slice of life" Ghibli movies more so than many of the very most popular Miyazaki Fantasy movie titles, and this list definitely shows that:

I find all Studio Ghibli films interesting. You cannot go wrong with anyone.

I have gone with Nausicaa as I like the dystopian atmosphere in it, b) Nausicaa is a likable character, and c) the background score is probably the best in Studio Ghibli films. Let's not forget the film led to the creation of Studio Ghibli.

It was between Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky for me, but I went with Castle in the Sky purely for personal preference.

I've only seen them all once, and there were lots that I loved, but the one I had the best time with was My Neighbor Totoro. Maybe my opinion will change when I eventually rewatch them.

Kiki's Delivery Service for me, personally. But Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke are both masterpieces.

When Marnie Was There, Nausicaa, and My Neighbors the Yamadas are probably my next favorites, but I don't dislike any of them.
