You're not purchasing air. You're purchasing rights to watch a movie any time you want on numerous services. Same as PC gamers buying all digital. They are buying games, not air. That argument continues to get old and is stupid.
One one has shown a single instance where someone lost all their digital movies. It's fear mongering. I agree if you love something, then physical is great if you can find it. But digital is just better for most everything else.
