These next 2 games for the Hawks make or break the season for us. We get Russ back and we play Green Bay and AZ. Gonna be an interesting 2 weeks.

Yeah, Kurt Warner was a far better quarterback than Kyler Murray can ever dream of being

As a Jets fan, I'm waiting with baited breath to see what our first round Jamal pick turns into.

An entirely premature statement, Kurt was in the league a while and no one can measure the amount of heart in a person, so no one knows what Kyler is capable of at this point.

Taunting? Wth. This isn’t soccer. Pittsburg will have to provide those poor officials ice packs and ibuprofen for their sore muscles from throwing all those flags.

I do think the NFL needs to let more taunting and some of the less physical dust-ups go. It's a physical game, people get riled up and throwing flags isn't going to do anything to curtail that behaviour.

I’m not sure what’s worse. The taunting penalties this season or the fact in the year 2021 the NFL is still using chains to determine what is a 1st down.

Or employing part-time refs who are old men trying to keep up with world class athletes. This is built into the NFL's model and with gambling coming into play this season, they're just printing money at this point.

Doesnt matter to the public which is what we are talking about.
Ask the networks who they rather show mlb opening night.
ATL who just won the world series or NYY or LAD.
They would take NYY or LAD over ATL in a second.

i missed the taunting call when it happened. seen it this morning & that was a stupid call. & did i just see the ref hip check the player who got called for taunting? it looked like he purposely did that then threw the flag. someone on one of these sports shows said it happened cause the ref was reaching for the flag at the same time. not sure about that since i only saw it once.

It was so ridiculous and egregious by a ref with a spotty past dating back to his days refereeing in college.

Officiating last night just proves that the NFL is a pretty overtly manipulated reality show. (Which is fine; I've made my peace with it and it's not like I'm gonna stop watching.)

Green Bay's running away with the NFC North so Chicago's a dead team walking, but a win for Pittsburgh keeps the AFC North going down to the wire.

Yep, saw the replay this morning (I didn't see the whole game last night because I passed out, for better or for worse). Not only was it a bad call, it's a stupid rule to begin with that gives the NFL more leverage over games. Before long, somebody will get a taunting penalty just for so much as looking Tom Brady's direction.

Marcus Spears made a great point on Get Up today that they better call that shit every time somebody does something even remotely provocative, but we all know they won't. They'll only call it when it's convenient.
