Atmos is a good option but I'd also want the OG 5.1 in lossless.

4K Dolby Vision on iTunes for years.

Blu-ray: 1080p HD MPEG-2 @ 28.36 Mbps / DD 640 Kbps
iTunes: 4K HEV Dolby Vision @ 25.09 Mbps / 384 Kbps

Surprising choice, but I did enjoy the movie. I'm not sure if I'll pick this up though.

Who remembers when the 2007 Blu-ray became a coveted item and went for big bucks once Paramount went HD DVD exclusive and discontinued the disc?

Always a proponent of more 4K movies, but IMHO my home boy Marky Mark needs to go back to underwear modeling and leave the acting to professionals.

Shooter was showing on Prime Video in 4K ( it may still is) but, the 4K UHD will blow the streaming versions and the standard blu-ray out the water, especially the audio.

Speaking of professionals, the majority of these so called actors nowadays are not professionals. They are Supermodels, WWE Wrestlers, Rappers, Athletes, Pop and R&B artists with big names (with pretty faces who's being used just for eye candy) and who've never attended a school of performing arts in their life, to learn the skill and really know how to act. It's not who you know it's who you blow. So Mark Wahlberg is not the only one.

I have the iTunes 4K version. Looks like an old transfer/master and very lackluster. Hope that this physical release is a new remaster/transfer.

Also, this looks like a tie in with Infinite (2021) physical release in the US (maybe).

No problem with this seeing a 4K release, the BD is pretty old and the lossy audio over and over again on every re-issue became a bit of a running joke.

I've often checked the "international pq/aq" thread to see if a version with lossless audio has come out.

Looking forward to upgrading, I really enjoyed the movie and the novel.
