Thanks for the heads-up! Is a newer version coming?

And hopefully MM not far behind for 4K.

A newer version is available to buy in the store, (cover art and distributor appear to be the only differences though).
The Apple TV app is poor in distinguishing the differences between the two. However, if you search on an iphone or an ipad in iTunes; you will see the current version is the only one available.

There is nothing wrong with posting old news - old news is new news to someone.

And I think telling someone it is old news needs only be done once.

Original version also upgraded in the US. That actually was relatively fast for WB.

Still waiting on The Outsiders original versions to upgrade.

And it won’t do as it’s an MGM release in the UK.
The 4K Paramount version is rental only.

We are in the middle of a pandemic in case anyone missed it.

Posting "news" about a title being available in 4K only needs to be done once.

What has the pandemic got to do with iTunes?

You said old news is new news. Just posting in case you needed some old news.

It's difficult to use the "search in thread" function to see if it's been posted before.

How hard was it to read the thread to see that someone already told the guy it was old news?

Why does it bother you so much if someone posts something like that? It was new to that guy and it is new to others. Bit hypocritical of you to moan about someone posting old information when you post old information yourself.

I suppose you were trying to be controversial or start a “thing” by mentioning covid but that fell flat on its face because it was very stupid to try make a comparison.

You need to grow thicker skin if my post upset you. The real world is going to be tough for you.

I got under your skin. You should sign up for sensitivity classes with that rant.

I'm guity of posting old information but when someone points it out, I don't have a conniption about it.

I’m in the US but it’s really easy to create a UK account. I got one because they have some good 4K exclusives
