You just have to be patient and set it up before you just make sweep movements with the analog stick.
2. That situation is something you can control. Wrestlers have easy access to this position its the same major transition to get out of it. Or if you are on the ground you can hit R1 + Up on the analog stock and your fighter will cover his face. This position is not a good one to be stuck in though.
3. When you are rocked and are about to get KO'd you got to take into account a few things. If your not good at blocking you probably are going to get beat. You fighter moves slower in this position as well. Try to keep the hands up if you can get a standing clinch in then you might last long enough to come back to normal. This isn't easy to come out of especially with someone who knows what they are doing. Just keep your distance or try to clinch but by doing so you are wasting stamina which is important to you not getting knocked out.
4. Submissions- The type of fighter you are playing with determines what you should be doing with submissions. If you are a Brock Lesner strong fighter you are going to want to hit the buttons repeatedly to get out of the submission because your guy is stronger. If you have more skills in submission defense than your guy is strong then you are going to want to finesse your way out rotating the analog stick.

thanks! for situation 3, i meant when you get rocked and fall down and your screen changes colors and you lay on the ground defenseless then your opponent stands on top of you and starts beating the sht out of you. i've seen twice where the guy on the ground recovers from this and starts blocking then kicks the opponent away, recovering from an almost certain TKO. its like he willed his way from a TKO. is it just button mashing when you are defenseless on the ground?
