Now back on topic Max and Conan work great together and Max is supposed to be a very stale guy that's his character. I always loved whenever they showed footage of Conan and Max hanging out before the show or drinking, those wild and crazy guys.

On a note that mixes both Canada and Conan.....I thought his trips to various cities - such as Toronto - was pretty cool. Hell not just to other cities, but didn't he take his show to Finland once as well?

So far from the first half hour, it seems like Conan is still being Conan. It's still a lot like the old show, just at an earlier hour. Even the theme song is the same song (but a new arrangement of it).

Once again, they would be nothing without Vedder. You mention Pearl jam people will say Eddie Vedder. If you don't realize this either a) you have no clue about music B) Drunk responding to posts or C) all of thee above.

Great show tonight - I love Conan. Pearl Jam turned me off of their new CD...what a horrible performance.

I think it's fair to say Vedder is clearly Pearl Jam to people who don't know anything about Pearl Jam, but fans clearly can tell you every single detail, and even tons of non-fans (I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan) probably know McCready.

I'm making assumptions here, but I'm assuming the guy a few posts up hates Mr. Jam because of his politics. Pearl might be a bit of a loony lefty, but I don't understand why people can't separate someone's work/art and their personal beliefs.

The same thing happens with Sean Penn. Just because Mystic River likes pretending to be a liberal activist apparently that means he's also the worst actor of all time.

If I hated every actor/musician I disagreed with for political, religious, or any other reasons (such as disagreeing on a favorite color), I wouldn't have much left to enjoy watching or listening to.
