WWW.sendit.com is by far the cheapest company in the uk for Blu Rays and are very reliable and sent me a new Blu Ray straight away when I had a broken case

Face/Off's been out for a while now... just not in the country it was made in. I plan on ordering this (and The Island) and then just copying the features from the DVD. Does anyone know if Face/Off is Dual Layered? Or The Island for that matter...

I can't remember where, I just remember someone taking screen shots from it. It was on AVS and here a while back, I'd have to search to see which country has it...

Where are you guys buying your imports from? I'm in the U.S.

And what I do need to look for to know if a disc will play on my PS3 or not? Some discs are region encoded and others are not, yes?

I'm a complete noob when it comes to importing.

I think Face-Off might have to be the first title I've ever imported.

I just got my copy of the island that I imported. I got it from hd addicts. Very happy with that purchase. It looks great. I asked them if they can get face off but have not heard back yet.

Alright, since this is hard for some people. Go down to the specs and look here:

if is says ALL REGIONS, it should play in the PS3 no problem.

Oddly enough, the Island has gone up in price since last month when a bunch of us ordered it. Almost $10 more!

Looks like I'm going to order Face Off and The Island and possibly Starship Troopers. Wonder how long it takes to ship to Canada. Sendit is going to be getting my business. I also saw U571 on their site. Universal here, so there are ways around everything.

I have purchased from them (Bruce Almighty, Crimson Tide, and Starship Troopers). They seem very reliable, with fast shipping.

About a week. They sent my last order on Aug 22, and I got it Aug 29.

Face/Off BVHE will definitely be better than the crappy Paramount HD DUD version.

Higher bitrate, better audio resolution.

This was not meant at any one person....i read 4-5 people asking if this would play on the PS3 so I wanted to clarify it for anyone else who is looking on Amazon.uk for their imports.
