Default computer geeks HELP! PLEASE!

can anyone help me. I know this is Blu-ray.com but I dont know any good computer sites. I have a newer PC with a pci express x16 and need a new graphics card. dont want to pay $350 again for a card. my old (dead) PC has a AGP PNY 7800GS 256mb card. and I'm looking at getting a pci express BFG 9500GT 1GB for $70. but the thing that is confusing me is the specifcations from both cards. the 7800GS has DDR3 and Memory Clock Speed of 1200MHz and the 9500GT has DDR2 and Memory Clock Speed of 666MHz why? can anyone help me please

7800GS http://reviews.cnet.com/graphics-car...tag=mncol;psum

9500GT http://reviews.cnet.com/graphics-car...tag=mncol;psum

any pci express x16 cards you like for under $100 thanks

For that price range you will want a 4850.

$115 with a free game. Pretty close to your budget, and will do very well.

450W do you think that is just for the card. on the 500W Power Supply only 50W would goto the CPU, CD/DVD, hard drive, fans...etc or would 450W include everthing.

It's a combination of everything in the system. So if you dont have much hooked to your system(ie one hard drive, one cd rom) you might be just fine with it. Problems might pop up if you had like 5 hard drives and 4 cd roms and 50 million usb powered devices.
