MORPHINE IS LEGAL! They use it at hospitals worldwide. They also use syringes and IV drips in hospitals, those are not available over the counter. What is your trip with morphine? Okay... I say legalize morphine, happy?

The point is, pot and morphine are both used by the medical types to ease people's pain, so why can't you use the same excuses for morphine that people use for pot all the time? It eases people's suffering so why can't we completely legalize it so you can head over to your friend Chet's place and get yourself some sweet sweet morphine...?
I was never arguing the point that morphine and pot are the same. I do not know where this came from.

There's also laws against attempted suicide, you have a problem with those too?

How do I not know what I am talking about? I am in control of my body, therefore I believe I should be able to do whatever I want with it? Whether that be good or bad in your eyes. If no one is hurting anybody else why does the goverment care about what I put into my body?

Yes I do... if your life is so horrible that YOU want to commit suicide, why the hell should the goverment be involved in that? It is your body that you take care of/not take care of, so why is it the goverment's job to determine what is illegal for my body? I mean McDonald's is bad for my body as well but that is not illegal. You really think someone should be put in jail because they attempted to commit suicide?

That sounds good, so rather than let the poor person who can't stand life anymore kill themselves, we should put them in jail and have taxpayers pay for them to live miserably in a cell. That makes sense.

That's a new one... maybe you were looking for "High Times" or "Cannabis Culture" but hey, whatever name you wanna use is cool. As far as facts, okay, then if I can't use my conspiracy theory magazine, then you can't use goverment blastphemy. Because o yeah, me buying a bag of weed from someone that either grew it themselves or got it from Canada, is DEFINATELY going to help Terrorists buy supplies. Gimme a break. I will say that both sides do skew their numbers... but as someone who has smoked for about 10 years now, I can tell you, I know a LOT of people that smoke... not just 20 year olds with "their face stuck in a bag of Doritos." But 40 year old real estate agents, 65 year old grandmothers, 37 year old housewives. A lot of upstanding citizens.

Oh and by the way... I thought Conan did a pretty good job last nite. Should be interesting to see how long this venture lasts.

Also, did anyone else notice that Will Ferrel's eyes were going all over the place throughout the interview. He seemed to be more involved in the crowd than Conan.

all the hard nose ant-pot politicians are the ones who have never tried it or been around it and therefore place it in the same category as heroin and crack and guys like jadedeath buy into the same propaganda because they have no experience of their own to go on

What? Don't hand us the medical properties of marijuana garbage? How is it garbage that is has been proven to help with people's pains? I mean when you are in CHEMO? and your body is ravaged with poisons and all you want to do is throw up and die, weed calms the sytem and takes that pain away.

Can you grab some morphine from the ground and just use it? No it has to be chemically made. Morphine IS used in hospitals correct, so therefore I believe it is LEGAL. But to give it out over the counter is just a dumb comment... you can't even buy cough medicine over the counter anymore, so to say that morphine would be over the counter is absurd.

Using my logic... anything you do to yourself should be legal... in this country, the land of the free, it seems that there are a lot of laws against what I do to MY body. Which IMO, is wrong.

What? So you've seen a duck on weed? WOW! Something I never seen. So it looks like a substance that helps people, relaxes people, and does not cause deaths, it must be WEED! I really just don't get your analogy.

That's funny because everywhere I read, it says about 80% of the world has or is smoking pot. But you don't care about facts do you? You just want to sit there and degrade people that smoke weed because they get the munchies? WOW! That is something that is going to put our country in peril.... a stoned guy eating Doritos. Is it that big of a deal that someone gets hungry after altering their mind?

And to the other person... heroin is from the Earth, but it must be processed and chemically altered to become the drug you know as Heroin. Same with cocaine!
I just cant understand a persons need to escape their reality.

Fix it, or deal with it.

Again, you go WAY out of your way to miss the point.

I mean legalize it by way of selling it over the counter to anyone who wants it.

I don't care what you put in your body, the facts are you should really come up with a good reason for it other than 'just cuz I wants to'

I think someone should be restrained from hurting themselves or other people.

Does pot take away your compassion? I'm not sure.

Fix it sounds good, but how do you really do that? Go to a shrink, get some pills, and call it a day? Sometimes there is no way to FIX things... for an example... if you have a wonderful girlfriend that you are in love with and she means THE WORLD to you, and the two of you are driving down a road when someone swirves and smashes head on with you in a car. Your girlfriend gets tossed from the windshield and dies. Now how would you fix this? Go after the guy who did it? That will get you in jail. Personally if that happened to me, I would think I should have the RIGHT to choose whether or not I would like to die as well, and maybe join my girlfriend in the after life.

And dealing with these problems is part of the reason why we have so many people with such pent up anger inside of them that when someday someone says something to put them over the edge, they snap and go on a murderous rampage or something like that. Not always but every cerial killer I have read about has had some HUGE issues that they just tried to DEAL with.

To each their own I guess, these are just my views!

I'm done with this... I NEVER SPOKE ABOUT MORPHINE... you did!

And you will keep continuing to wait, cuz there are no polls where the entire world is asked if they smoke weed. Maybe I misspoke on that one, but for you to be that abnoxious about it. WOW! I guess you could use a blast of the green.

But honestly you should try some weed and then tell me how you feel about this conversation, because at this point talking to you about marijuana is like talking to an Ethiopean Carpenter about Japan's HVAC problems.

No thanks.

Some things you don't have to experience to know that it's a dumb@$$ thing to do.

Using that logic, you could say that since I've never shot myself in the foot with a nail gun I can't tell someone that they're an idiot for having done so.

You don't have to wait anymore jackass. The links are right above. You don't have to do something to know the consequences like shooting your foot, but you do need to try something to argue it. If I say shooting your foot with a nailgun doesn't hurt... HOW CAN YOU TELL ME OTHERWISE?
