i just find it funny that the actual boat going down took less time then the movie...but hey they musta done something right it's the highest grossing movie ever...

i dont typically enjoy movies based on tragedies that actually happened...i'm sure it'll look lovely in hi def though.

Has anyone ever compared 1080p to 1080i side to side? I have, you can't discern any difference. The info is shot onto the screen much faster than the human eye can detect. I have better than 20/20 vision, it has been tested by the military to be 15/20. I have been told that if it is on a 60 inch or larger screen and you are sitting within 5 feet of the screen that you might be able to detect a slight difference during very hectic action scenes. Just a marketing excuse to get people to spend an extra $1,000 for a tv.

Actually, you don't need to have excellent vision to see the difference between I and P. Granted, most people will never see it, those that are aware of it can notice it.

I personally have seen it a few times. The scene gets so busy, stuff gets blurred or disappears.
