Man I really want to watch this and Matrix 4 in IMAX or Dolby Cinema but looks like circuit breaker lockdown maybe back in the UK. Although I had my booster recently, still a bit scared to visit the theatre.

Also so many spoilers out there in YouTube and most of these showing up as suggestions on the home page.

I really hope this pandemic gets over soon and life is back to normal.

It is actually available on Bravia Core

Love the steelbook design.

Gonna wait and see whatever avenue is avaliable for the 1.90, hopefully there's atleast one option that people without Bravia TVs can get.

Didnt Disney+ sign a deal to have Homecoming, FFH, and NWH stream in 2022? Here's hoping that they atleast bring back the IMAX version of FFH and NWH on that.

Yeah, the films will be on Netflix for a certain period of time before going to Disney+.

I would assume a 2K DI as that's what theatres were given:

I've now seen this twice, in two different Regal cinemas.

The first one was a conventional screen and contained the proper aspect ratio, but the projector's calibration pushed red heavily and wasn't exactly the most pleasing viewing experience as a result.

The second time was in a LieMAX screen, which appeared properly calibrated and all. Unfortunately it cropped the sides to fill the height, but I get it. Immersion, right? At least I got to see it once in 2.39:1.

I just hope the standard 4K is a decent cover, and not the one listed on Amazon.

At a good old standard price of $2,400. Great! Damn you Sony.

One can dream though, and since apparently all of No Way Home was in 1.90, It'd be great to at least have the option on disc. But will very likely not.

4K DI? from Sony? that's such a 2012 thing. We're in 2021, studios have moved on, so of course it's 2K.

If there's a steelbook it'll be a Best Buy exclusive, like they almost always are.

It’s not cropped on the sides, it’s opened on the top and bottom.

Compare these:

You're first viewing wasn't actually proper aspect ratio, the IMAX enhanced is (as it's the preferred by the filmmakers), and it wasn't cut off on the sides, the top and bottom are extended. So while it may feel like the sides are cut off, they weren't.

Not that it matters. This will likely look tremendous, as most Sony UHD discs do.

Interesting for those who mention I viewed it in 1.9:1. There were some shots where I was absolutely convinced this was the case, and others not so much. Meaning I actually was picturing in my head "How this would look if I cropped out some top and bottom" and couldn't picture it.

Not only that, I watched the trailer right after watching the film and was certain looking at some trailer shots that there was more left-and-right image than in the most recent version I saw.

Perhaps I'm just seeing what my mind believed.
