Might be a while but it’s possible. They were filmed in 35mm so a 4K is certainly within the realm of possibility but the Arrow Blu-rays were scanned at 2K.

I ordered the ‘Harold and Maude” blu-ray from that eBay listing but it was missing it’s digital copy (it was shrink wrapped but didn’t have the printed white seal at the top, which not all discs have).

Anyone else have the same issue? I messaged the seller but haven’t heard back yet.

Yes, my copy didn't come with a digital copy either.

I've ordered a number of titles from homeviewingdeals over the year and if the copy advertises DC, it certainly comes with it. For instance, the Crocodile Dundee Set came with 3 digital codes, Promising Young Woman came with a code. Related store Homeviewingclearance Super 8, My Fair Lady, Guns of Navarone came with codes. All brand new properly factory sealed - not that sketchy shrink wrap - as well.

So, I think the blame is on Paramount for this. It's a "Paramount Presents" title over in the US, which the equivalent titles don't get codes here in Canada. Might be worth checking with the other folks around here who have bought their copies from somewhere else in Canada and see if it's a widespread thing. Pretty sure it is.

My copy mentionned a digital copy but there was nothing in there. Didn’t bought it on ebay so it doesnt look like the seller’s fault…

I doubt anyone can confirm it but it feels like Paramount is using a different factory/plant to package some of their 4K titles. I got Addams Family 4K from Ebay and Hansel and Gretel 4K locally and both had pretty crappy shrink wrap and both had scratches on the 4K disc.

When I got Hansel and Gretel a few weeks ago I thought it might have just been a one-off and possibly a resealed disc but with it happening again with another recent 4K Paramount title from a different seller, I'm starting to think the issue lies with Paramount. If they were blu-rays or DVDs I would not be too concerned, but 4K discs are really sensitive and even the most minor scratch can mess up playback.

My copy from Amazon was scratch free and also had the different shrink wrap. I've seen that type used before though on occasion.

I don't see what the big deal is though as it doesn't effect anything.
