Ordered. I have been debating on buying this because I don't like a lot of Hammer films and absolutely hated Revenge of Frankenstein. However, I LOVE The Mummy and enjoyed Curse of the Werewolf so I figured for $10, it's worth checking out. Thanks!

CoF is essential Hammer with one of the greatest endings ever. I envy you getting to see it for the first time. If you loved The Mummy, you will love this even more.

kinda amused at my luck with Warner Archive titles-- I didn't wait and bought The Curse Of Frankenstein, Straight Time, There Was A Crooked Man, The Last Of Sheila, and the Ghost Ship/Bedlam double feature for the usual early sale prices of $17.99 to $19.99.

The one title I waited on (Guns For San Sebastian) just forever stays at $17.99 and doesn't drop a penny!

I'm in this boat as well. Ordered Curse when it was originally released. I placed a large order once Ghost Ship hit ~$14. The one title I most wanted Ladies They Talk About, never dropped back to $11 and it's been hovering ~$14 ever since.

You win some and lose some. I paid full $17.99 price for each Step by Step and I Wouldn't Be In Your Shoes, which are each at around $12, but it's okay. I wanted them right away, and that's how it goes sometimes. I'm cool with it

What you can do is order them from Best Buy, and then it gives you a 30-day price guarantee. I got a partial refund from them for a WAC recently that dropped substantially in price.

I bought Ladies They Talk About at $11.20 last month. I wouldn't be surprised if it dips down to $9-$10 in the next couple of months. You have to keep checking and set up a price drop alert on camelcamelcamel.

That's the thing about buying online now.

In the old days of plentiful merchandise, I'd buy Curse Of Frankenstein for $11.99 and less than a month later I'd see the price go down to $9.99 I'd just go buy that one and return the $11.99. Much easier than going to CS and asking for a price match.

But now with Amazon when the price becomes right you buy it, like buying stocks hoping you got lucky and the price won't drop again.

So I also got the Valerian 4K for $4.99 so I guess I just amortize all my sales over many titles.

For myself the days of price matching are pretty much over and getting slips and getting "perfect" box sets without dings. That's the tradeoff for online.

It's a guessing game and sometimes you wait too long and it may take a year or longer to get back to that price you thought might go lower.
