They might be going back to Marvel Publishing, as Disney owns Marvel and has a cozy relationship with Hasbro for it's own properties, including the Marvel Universe ones.

After losing Star Wars and now these other two, will there be anything left at IDW?

IDW won't survive without these licences. They made an awful mess of Rom, Mask and Visionaries, and Transformers was originally on a much better path with Simon Furman before they decided to boot him out and publish countless titles a month, making it all very convoluted.

At least the Wormwood Gentleman Corpse and Ghostbusters comics were (mostly) really good. Considering all the massive continuity problems with Afterlife, I'm still happy to treat the IDW GB comics as my preferred canon instead.

They had Darwyn Cooke doing Parker there too, but obviously that option is now closed.
