I probably shouldn't tell you that the Matrix Trilogy 4K UHD/BD set dropped briefly to $14.99 back on November 9, 2020, so I won't tell you that. ah dammit

Even paying just $4.99 more for the other 2 I still probably would not watch them again.

While it’s still $59.99 at Unobstructed View, Amazon CA has it for $56.82:

John Williams continues his European tour, this time in Berlin with an orchestral performance of some of his most recognizable film pieces. This collection differs somewhat from the titles played during his earlier Vienna concert.
[Show spoiler]
I'm looking to pick up the Blu-Ray + CD version of the concert, but I'm not too sure there is a Canadian release of this. The discs are supposedly coming out in the next week or two. Amazon Canada has a listing, but the title is marked as unavailable. I can't find any listings on Sunrise Records' online store. Furthermore, the Canadian distributor appears to have the CD-only versions.

Does anyone know if this Blu-Ray is going to be available in Canada. Or will I have to import it from the U.S.?

I picked up Vienna at sunrise as it had the best price so surprised it's not listed. The Amazon listing does appear to be th bd/CD combo even though it's categorized as Audio CD, might be worth searching by UPC

As TheCapn said, Sunrise was selling the Vienna concert. I bought the Vienna CD/Blu-Ray at Sonic Boom here in Toronto. I'm not sure if they will be selling this one as Sonic Boom will no longer be carrying DVDs and Blu-Rays. Bay Street Video might carry it.

Yeah, the Vienna concert Blu-Ray is listed by the Canadian distributors. I got my copy from Sunrise back in the day.

The two items listed for the Berlin concert have UPC codes that line up with the two-CD European release and the two-CD U.S. release. So I'm currently thinking there will be no Canadian release of the Blu-Ray version.

Annoyingly, this year I'm finding that I am buying more discs from the U.S. than Canada simply because they are unavailable here!

Yes, it's frustrating because some of these titles I cannot even order on Amazon Canada. Like Salsa:The Motion Picture (okay, I know it's a terrible movie lol but it's a guilty pleasure). Sandpiper Pictures doesn't seem to have a Canadian distributor (yet) so Amazon US or DeepDiscount it will be.

It would be nice if the John Williams Berlin Blu-Ray would be available here. I wasn't even aware of this release until you mentioned it. I really enjoyed the Vienna show, and I also enjoyed the recent Hans Zimmer CD/Blu-Rays. I definitely like supporting more concerts on Blu-Rays.

I also was unaware until a couple of days ago when I saw it in the U.S. listings of upcoming releases on the front page of Blu-Ray.com. I'm thinking I'll be ordering it from DeepDiscount or perhaps Amazon U.S.A. if they lower their price. I still have a $15 credit for the latter to use up. The photos indicate this to be a 4-disc set (2 Blu-Rays and 2 CDs). Must have been one heck of a concert!

JP

Nice! I have it pre ordered with Amazon as well but they haven’t shipped it yet. Do you live far away from the warehouse or something that they shipped it early to you?

Oh, I think I found the Universal Music Canada press release. Hopefully this means Sunrise will get them in at a good price like they did with the Vienna concert.

Caveat Emptor: folks have complained about the colours with the HDR being "off"... too much yellow. And IIRC(?) some other technical flaw(s) that should have resulted in a disc replacement program.
