So now that I've finally seen this I think I see where all the negative comments are coming from. Some parts of the movie drag a lot. And the '02 Resident Evil is definitely a much better movie. That said, some parts of it were very very creepy and I'm glad I made the decision to watch it at night instead of Saturday morning, even though I was exhausted and had trouble staying awake because of that. Kaya was great. That was why I wanted to buy this regardless of how good it was. The picture was good, nothing amazing. The sound was top notch through my headphones during those creepy/scary scenes. 3 special features 5-10 minutes along, in 1080 SDR, same ones on both discs. I recommend only if you like the movie, I agree this one is probably better rented first.

I forgot to mention it, but this disc does have the popup when the credits start that you have to down arrow, and the special features start playing automatically after the credits are over. So Sony is still doing that on their discs.
