I just read a thread about what movie is tearjerker for you. It got thinking about movie scenes that makes you feel great about why you love movies? Scenes that bring that excitement of you, that little kid in you.

Here are a few of mine:

Transformers: When the autobots arrive and Optimus Prime introduces himself to Sam

The Dark Knight: The batpod Eject scene

Face Off: the gunfight in the Church. The slow motion, the birds flying. That scene is cool.

Swordfish: The opening scene.

Ali (micheal Mann): When Foreman goes down and Ali puts his hands up.

GLADIATOR - reenactment of the battle of Carthage

CASINO ROYALE - opening chase scene

IRONMAN - when ironman goes back to the middle east for revenge

300 - the entire 2nd half of the movie

I like the movie scene which is something horror with romance. I forgot already the movie that I've watched. The movie is something about the killer where the group of college studets were killed and few survives only.

The end of The Last of the Mohicans.

When they get into the castle towards the end of Robin Hood and the Prince of Thieves.

The big game against the other team in Remember the Titans.

When Wolverine goes apeshit in the mansion in X-Men 2.

The end battle in Apocalypto.

When Achilles and Hector fight in Troy.

And like OP, when the Autobots arrive in Transformers.

My favorite exciting scene which you never see is in the 2003 Ang Lee film, Hulk where we see Banner and the South American rebels and the one in charge is in Banner's face and he tells him; "Don't make me angry. You won't like me when I am angry!" Then the rebel looks scared and we see Banner's green eyes and we zoom out to the green forest and then we hear Hulk yelling and it fades to green and then to black and it ends. You know Hulk was going to do some damage to those rebels.

For me it's the fight against Max Bear (spelling?) in Cinderella Man. It doesn't matter how many times I watch that fight, the tempo, the way it was shot, best of all the fight itself is simply amazing.

The Dark Knight in general. Specifically, that whole chase scene where the Batpod ejects, flipping the truck, to when he eventually turns the Batpod off the wall. The first time I saw that whole scene I was having a major geekout moment haha.

Casino Royale - chase scene
Cars - when they fix the town back up & all the lights look amazing

Hellboy 2 - whole movie

GoodFellas - when he beats the crap out of the guy with the butt of the gun
No Country For Old Men - when Chigurh is in the gas station
TDK- batpod scene
