Not at the moment. Barry is being an A hole and I want nothing to do with him for the time being. It likely will happen in the future though.

Glad to hear it's not impossible for the future. With so many people discovering it now due to TLDI, it’s too bad there isn’t a proper release out there.

Barry's Triple Threat release with 2 films that he directed and are nothing like Things has caused more people to think it is shot on tape, do to his terrible upscale onto a bluray disk. Barry did this behind my back and against my will. He told me that he only gave permission to his friend to release it for 2 years, but he is still selling it. The best transfer is the Intervision release.
If Barry is going to continue causing trouble and possible legal problems, it may never get restored as I have the original unedited camera positives in an unedited form. He thinks it's his film because I stupidly copyrighted it in both names. In fact, he didn't get involved until a year after preproduction and all the main characters who were great friends of mine and worked without pay, were already involved. Barry almost want in it when I found out he spent the $15,000. that he was supposed to include for the budget. I was 19 when filming started and 99% of the funds came from my parents. Unfortunately due to Barry's game there may be no restoration. He would need to sign something saying that he will not do anything with Things unless both him and me make any decisions.

An interesting example of why some films never get restored or released. Fighting among the owners.

Hope you guys find some agreement because THINGS deserves preserving. None of the previous releases have really done it justice (I always assumed it was shot on video due to their quality). Still, stick to your guns. I would love to see a definitive version that meets your standards and you receive proper compensation for.

Man, I got a Meridian soundtrack cassette as a gift. Thought it was pretty cool when I opened it, but you guys with your Caroline Williams autographs are making it feel pretty lackluster.

I'm mostly joking, certainly not going to complain about my free gift. Really cool that these are pretty legit items being thrown in and not just magnets and stickers or something.

I mean, it certainly could be worse. I could have gotten a free used Bananaman diaper.
