Robert, I'm curious - do these 98 inch or 100 inch TVs sell that well? There must be some people buying them if the manufacturers keep making them...

But then again just a couple of years ago 65 inch TVs were considered big. It's amazing how the market can change in a short time.

People who are buying 98" TVs are rich and have deep pockets because, an average consumer couldn't afford it, especially now during the pandemic, when food and the cost of living is steadily increasing. Those 98" TVs are being manufactured and catered only for the wealthy folks who can afford them. Some people can't even afford to buy a 65"TV, lest a 98".

I have a Sony 85" 4K had it for two years now love it but want a Sony 100". would have got the Sony XR-100X92 but it's not Sony's Master Series TV. Hoping next year they come out with a Master Series 100".

You currently have an 85" 4K TV and now you want to get a 100". If Sony or LG would come out with a 130" screen a year or two later, you are going to want to buy that too! When will you be satisfied? I don't try to keep up with the Joneses, and I don't need to have the latest and the greatest because I'm not trying to impress anybody.

I have an 86” but a 98” would fit much better on the wall/with the space I have. Once prices drop enough, I am sure I will jump, unfortunately by that time the decision between the 98” or 85” OLED may come into play
