Online "Ranked" Matches are a whole different world, much more skilled players. I've created 6 CAF Fighters now, ranging from 98 overall to 103 overall and I'm a little over 100 wins (ranked) and around 50 losses. Trust me, there's alot of tough players out there, even if you have a top CAF character - it's all how you adapt to their gaming.

The highest you can get in sparring is 144, that's as high as I got and from some guides online that is the max. Hint: To get higher stats, don't do any fights to sub for another fighter who dropped out, don't do sessions like signings or attending ppv events - they're a waste, just do your training and sparring. Do your training first to the levels you want, then do sparring. Don't waste time with sparring till you're training is set - you'll get a ton more points once you do that.

Enjoy and hope to see some of you online in the ranked fights

Thanks for the info on the sparring!

Online is pretty fun, when there isn't lag that is. I had my first wimp last night as I knocked him out in 10sec and there was a "sudden" network connection issue. Blah. These people need to grow up, who cares if you lose, it's not like these go on your resume or something.

Thanks

life, i saw on some other board earlier that you should only train with "Light". i think you asked earlier for a mathematical diagnosis of the 3 lvls of training. light yields the most pts with the least stamina used. at work so i can't pull up the exact numbers.

maybe somebody can help me out, wenever i play my friend i mostly win, the only time he can really beat me if he gets me up against the fence and keeps pounding me with combos, i block but he keeps going face, body, legs, and it really wears my guy down till he cant take it, dont know how to get out of this situation, any advice on getting of the fence quick with taking the least damage, my friend catches my leg sometimes and takes me down or if im punching him he grapples me but i cant do this, and he wont tell me how lol, he likes having this advantage over me

when in close range clinch with him (hug him). this gives you a breather and stops the incoming damage. if your guy is BJJ then you can take him down into your guard from the clinch and even give yourself a longer break to get regain some energy. besides clinching you can sidestep.

im halfway through my 5th CAF now going for the achievements. have 3x 100 rated fighters and 1x 98 rating

career mode tips:

use "light" and skill up strength to 75, then cardio to 75, then speed to 75 as fast as you can first, don't spare til you get lvl 3 sparring partners

to get +100 pt sparring sessions, use all your skill pts you get in standing kicks offense to 80-85 range. you get a standing kicks % bonus for completing the kickboxing/muay thai training later on which will take your standing kicks to ~95 range so don't go more than 85

in sparring do 2x low outside leg kick 2x forward body kick 2x head kick, then alternate sides. guaranteed rocked/knockdown/knockout unless you pick fights with wrestlers that just waste your time in sparring taking you down.

As far as the training camps go, I'm having a hard time getting the points because the #$*^$#&* guy doesn't try to do anything. He hardly ever goes for takedowns, so half of the points I can't get because I can't get into the proper positions myself, he never tries to transition . . . he just sits there and, if I want, lets me beat the ever-loving s**t out of him. Any tips?
