Could be but also seems like they should maybe find out what each other are releasing so don't overlap. Give each other six months to a year before putting out another version of the same movie.
And I try my best to not do more than one copy per movie. Have a couple doubles which eventually plan on selling one version of each to rectify that.

They do know what each other are releasing. They don't care. They know they are going to sell out their editions.

I think you're wrong on (at least) two accounts:
1. don't think peasants spent their time on movies and series websites
2. Blufans allow ANYONE and EVERYONE to buy from them; the problem getting limited/exclusive items is another different story, and does not apply just to Blufans

Blufans could be the only premium steelbook label out there that has the lowest print run for most of their releases. I think they understand that one of criteria for collectible item is the rarity. Therefore they don't want to produce too many steelbooks for the sole purpose of profit maximization. For example, with their loyal and mature client base such as my VIP group here, their releases are normally sold out quickly even during the pre-ordering stage. That leaves no chances and no copies left for Blufans to sell them in public. But it doesn't mean that you have no ways to obtain a copy. If you are determined enough, you can follow the thread closely here for any group buy updates or at other steelbook forums like MediaPsychos, HDN, etc. for that matter and you should have no issues to get the copy you really want. Please remember: New members are always welcomed by Blufans!

I deleted it within moments, perhaps even seconds, of posting it because I didn’t feel like taking this conversation down the rabbit hole. How you caught it in time to quote is pretty amazing.

Verbose defenses of blufans are unnecessary and go against everything your signature advocates (as well as your need to explain Kevin’s word choice). I’m also unsure if you’re somehow indicating that I have poor grammar.

Regarding everything else you said, it’s almost as if you missed my entire point. I was simply arguing that it’s impossible for non-VIPs to secure the desirable blufan releases on this website. If this objective statement offends you, that’s not my problem. The statement was not meant to be an attack on anyone. It was meant to provide a bit of a chuckle to all non-VIPs such as myself that would love to get our hands on some of the releases.

Lastly, I’m not sure what you’re quoting in your last sentence. You use quotation marks for a statement I never typed nor implied. And you incorrectly added the punctuation outside the quotation marks, along with the other grammar and style issues in this long post. I have no desire to continue this conversation, which is why I deleted the message in the first place. You decided to quote it and rant about it and tell mods that it’s necessary when it could have just all died with my joke, your unnecessary defense, and Kevin’s scripted response.

As Kevin mentioned - You can get Blufans releases at other sites - without a VIP status.
HDN and Mediapsychos have GBs for Blufans releases all the time.
