I don't boast about it, but I've had mixed reactions leaning towards impressive. Yeah I've had the typical "blowing money" " wasting space", but I've been collecting since 2008. It's not like I went out and blew thousands on 2,000 blu rays. It took time. Also, it's not a waste of space to ME and that is all that matters. It's my library. Libraries aren't a waste.

I've also had my interest in film questioned like I'm obsessed and my priorities are out of whack. Yeah, very opinionated people I run into sometimes. I work, take care of my kid, my lady is never neglected, and I always make time for life. I also make time for my individual passion, and having passion is not something to criticize. I love film and I love to do art and write(both being my stock and trade). I've no shame in my game.

I know too many mediocre people with no discernible talents or aspirations, and no passion for anything... but they always have something to say about others.

I had an ex who wanted to change me, who pulled the "it's either me or your geeky collection". Mind you i worked hard, and gave as much time for her as I could. It was never enough, because i dabbled in my passion more times than she wanted me to... In reality, she was a self absorbed monopolizer who didn't respect me as an individual or my interests. Didn't want any involvement in my life, she just wanted me involved in hers.

So that relationship death blow that she pulled naturally didn't end well. I didn't choose my collection over my relationship, I just wasn't gonna let anyone make me choose either way. Any girl that puts that shit on me is gonna hit the road, always. It's not cool, it's disrespectful and a real woman would never feel so insecure and pathetic enough to be threatened by a person's own interests. I've no time for their bruised ego.

Never settle or let anyone change what makes you a passionate individual. People will either appreciate that have passion for SOMETHING, or they can f--k right off with their mediocrity. Not having passion for anything is a waste of life.
