Heck, I'd take the DNR on Blu-rays, frankly.

That's interesting you mentioned the Shout set being inferior to the Sony releases. I'm in the middle of figuring out which editions to buy. The problem with purchasing it by individual season with the Sony releases is that I can barely find a legit copy of S4,5 or 6 on DVD.

Why do you prefer the Sony releases to the Shout Factory set? Thank you for the insights!

Better picture quality IMO. Sony only released the first three seasons, so you would have to buy them individually. Maybe I got a bootleg set? I bought it on Amazon, so who knows. Walmart has the boxed set for $30. I swapped out the first three seasons in the set with the Sony disc.

The only problem is that the framerate is film quality-like. You want the show in its original videotape framerate, you got to go with the DVD.
