Loading up my cart here! YAY! I have two questions for you more experienced flashers.

First, is there a way to know how much further I hafta go for a $50 certificate?

Second, does Criterion start counting for a certificate based on absolute $$$ spent or on orders? For example, if I only need $100 to get to a certificate, but I spend $300 on my order, does the $200 excess apply to the next certificate or do they start the next certificate with the next order. I'd hate to lose any excess spending credit for the next certificate.

Thanks!

There's a point counter in the dashboard on the Criterion site that should tell you how much further you have to go.

Yes, the $200 excess in your example would go to the progress towards the next gift card. It's $1 spent = 1 point.

Especially because Wages has a FAR superior UK restoration that's been done. I would also love to see BFI's restoration of 'La Belle et la Bette' for UHD.

Anyone here have strong opinions on Insignificance (1985)? I really like Nicolas Roeg’s style but am a little hesitant to blind buy given that I haven’t heard much about it anywhere.

I haven't seen it in probably ten years, but I remember being shocked that it worked as well as it did given the gimmicky alternate history angle. To be honest, though, I was a twenty one year old college kid then and found it kind of thrilling as an intellectual excersise first and foremost. I can't say I'm the same person now. One thing's for sure: Theresa Russell is smokin' hot!

If I can sever myself from all the Welles I've been revisiting maybe I'll give Insignificance a revisit soon.

Strange. It shows "currently unavailable" in my wishlist and "now available" on the item-specific page.

Maybe you have to clear cache or cookies, since there was a time it wasn't available.

Deleting from my wishlist and re-adding fixed it. I suspect the wishlist wasn't corrected for the corrected disc version.

Anyone mind giving me their opinion? You can only buy one. The Celebration or Adoption, both new releases. Which would you choose?

The 4K appears to be available as of now. I added it to my cart and it says it’s in stock. Look and see if it does the same for you.

As dvining says, you should be able to tell from the Dashboard how close your are.

My advice if you are $100 from a Free Cert and have a $300 order -- make a $150 order, the Free GC should be sent within minutes and you can make a second $150 order using the GC immediately. This may not be the best strategy if you live in an area with FS (AK, HI, PR, Canada)

There's never been much of a lag in getting the GC and no delay in it being active.

Any excess will be applied toward the next GC

So, the sale was almost certainly delayed a week or two until they got Hard Day's Night available to ship again.

Same as with Hard Day's Night with me. If ShellOil hadn't mentioned it, my wishlist still showed it Unavailable.

Nice to be able to able my #2 wanted item

Yeah, I got my last gift card within 5 minutes of my order. I applied it immediately after and got my two orders done in about fifteen minutes total.

Have a plan!
