Even after reading the review, it still doesn't seem like my cup of tea. I prefer my horror movies to be campy. I'd just personally rather not sit through anything that might actually disturb me. If that makes me a pansy then I'll go put on my dress and pumps.

how is the Epson 1080ub for dark movies like The Descent? are the blacks solid enough or are they kinda light. i'm looking into my first projector and trying to make the right decision for something under 2000. i'm looking into b stocks and refurbs even stuff from last years models (2008). all i want are solid blacks and more than 1200 lumens. my distance will be around 11 feet with a screen that's 92 inches wide.
