We are in the process now of rounding up individuals to come. Dann G. has commited to coming with the Emotiva van full of goodies. Lots of people also plan on brining their own gear. Mac is trying to see if some local hi-fi stores will be willing to temporarily donate some gear.

But it should be a hell of a time.

I'll keep ya updated, but clear your calender for the weekend of July 25th
What is "GTG"? I will make sure to have the calender open. Pretty close to me?

Cool, not to far then. Please, keep me in the loop. I don't own any Emotiva, but it is definitely on the radar.

Sorry to interrupt but just wanted to ask a question.Im considering getting another Emotiva amp and dont know what would benefit me more an XPA-3 or an XPA-2.I would be using my UPA-7 for my 3 surrounds or if I went the XPA-2 way Id use the UPA-7 for the 3 rears plus my center.Any suggestions?BTW The BP8B's are now BP10B's

P.S I want to go to Emofest Too Far

Mike , I am getting the XPA-5 in the next week or so to power my front 3 BOSTON HS450's .I will be using my UPA-7 to power my Surr. & surr. rears ! I would like to get 3 XPA-2's because you can Bridge them into 1 channel each for twice the watts(power) But It's more than I want to spend !

Why dont you just get an XPA-3 sense your just gonna use it for your L/C/R or did you just want the extra power?See I dont know weather it would be better for all front to have the same power or just my L/R having the most power.BTW I dont do 2ch music imma multi-ch listener

Sometimes I do 2 channel But it is sweet to sit in the sweet spot & have all 7 of them going together !!
Why the XPA-5 , Because I want my front sound stage stronger than it is ! I will get more watts using 3 channels on the XPA-5 !

I have a question if someone could answer. If I have a UPA-7, only connecting three speakers, the extra power will automatically be routed to those three speakers, correct?
Now if I have seven speakers connected, but am only sending information to two channels, with music, for example, will it still route the extra power to those speakers when the others are inactive or do the other speakers need to be disconnected?

Thanks in advance for any help.

First Question is yes , you are getting more watts using less channels !
As far as the next question I do not know , But am vary curios what the answer is & can't wait to find out myself .
