At this point, outside of Shadow of the Vampire, that I need from Lionsgate. I'll probably buy most of the Vestron titles from now on though, as a thank you for finally Extreme Prejudice. It's easily in my top titles I wanted on Blu-ray in the US.

I just watched this tonight and I enjoyed it. Somehow I missed this movie from the '80's. Growing up through the '70's and '80's this movie was fun to watch. Typical '80's movie, but overall fun to watch.

I wonder if a contractual dispute over the cover art was the reason for the delay. The new art is structurally odd looking with Nick Nolte's name on top and the other stars below the title. I wonder if he insisted that he alone have top billing and as a result the cover had to be re-worked/re-printed and thus that would explain the month delay. We've heard of similar stories from Scream Factory in the past in regards to certain actors/actresses likenesses as it pertains to cover art; Death Becomes her comes to mind.

Speaking of Nick Nolte, I just saw him in Angel Has Fallen. I thought he'd dropped completely off the radar. With all that white facial hair and goat beard he looked 100 years old lol.

Bill just was terrible at any kind of QC. Duplicate spine numbers, switched UPC (of it was present), etc., etc., etc.... Code Red is the worst example to use for this.

What other label is known for skipping spine numbers? Just curious.

Fox had a line of Collectors Edition dvds that had spine numbers. It’s mostly consistent but I think there is a duplicate or a number or two skipped.

Last movie I saw Nolte in was 1997's Nighwatch. He did look rather old in that and that was 25 years ago so you're right.

It was strongly implied by the head of Red Shirt Pictures, who produces the extras for these releases. So it is still a rumor, and definitely not confirmed yes, but it's much stronger than most out there, which are often based on wishful thinking or heavy speculation.
