I watch and own tons of old black and white movies some of which are my favorites of all time.

Citizen Kane is an overhyped uninteresting bore of a film. The Best directorial debut ever did come out in 1941 though, it was John Huston with The Maltese Falcon.

SW is the better pic and and is a mythology.

But its hard to quantify if a film that highlights a style that gets adopted in mainstream Fashion.

Thats the thing....they dont have to know its the AH look or see the movie for its influence to be there.

Im just sayin AH does have its cultural impact.....nowhere near SW.
