These companies like BlackRock are not just buying random properties they come upon.

Speaking of cold calls, making this post reminded me of a time I was doing contract work at Morgan Stanley. One day, the phone rings and when I answered, the guy on the line asked to speak to Morgan Stanley. So I asked him to repeat who and he said again "Morgan Stanley". I put him on hold and I stand up and say "Ha ha guys, very funny. Who is doing this?" and after a minute one guy realizes I'm not kidding around and he comes over and takes the call for me.

This dumbass actually called and wanted to speak to Morgan Stanley. Good lord.

Hoping House Of Gucci goes lower than $15.99 eventually. I was going to have Target price-match Best Buy's $15.99 but by the time I was going to get around it, the price went back up.

I'm more of a fan of bike rides myself. Usually try and get 20-30 miles per ride, but it never feels like work/exercise. It's just relaxing.

Me too, as much as I love being out in nature it's easier to just hop on the bike and go for a ride around town. Especially with gas prices creeping up to $4/gal makes it harder to get in the truck and drive to a trailhead. It's easier on your knees too.

It was definitely hard work today though, some 20+mph head winds.

I'm done with anything new marvel has to offer.
The latest issue of Spider-Man really pissed me off.

How do I get someone I care about to seek psychological help when they clearly don't want to?

I hate to say this but sometimes you can't force someone to do that. I know one person who needs serious help. Not because she is a danger to herself or anything like that but let's just say something is seriously wrong with the way she thinks and on top of that, she has OCD tendencies. Real, actual OCD that interferes with her life and is affecting her husband and child.

She refuses to get any kind of help or even speak to a counselor.

But if you ask her about it, it's everyone else's fault and she bears no blame. She has zero desire to change and until she does, there's really nothing anyone can do.

It's not in my personality to try any harder so I gave up. I can only hope she realizes one day she's driving everyone away. I do feel bad for her kid.

I rarely say this, but I think the Princess Ruby cruise ship is cursed or doomed.

But then again, I go to the movie theater - I'm sure posters on cruisecritic look at me like I have dragon horns and a third eye.

Just ordered a new Atlantic media case from Amazon. It's been awhile since I've had a traditional Blu Ray/DVD storage unit as opposed to a bookcase.
I'm now debating between two bookcases.
One is a $74.95 Sauder bookcase that I can get for $14.95 by using a $60 rewards card and not paying tax at AAFES.
The second is a $35 Room Essentials bookcase from Target which I've had in the past.

Normally I would easily pick the case from Target but the rewards card does have an expiration date and I don't know what else I'd use it on right now.

I needed a second, large one for my basement and went with one from Home Depot which I like quite a bit. It wasn't cheap, but the finish is a bit better than some of the other press board offerings out there.

I don't like how the default shelf sizes for those cabinets are DVD size. I bought one on clearance from Best Buy for $20 (nothing as large as the pictured one or civic's) and there is a bit of space after putting in me blu-ray collection.

Although it does fit the larger box set blu-rays like the Planet of the Apes collection quite well. For $20 I really shouldn't doth protest.

That looks ideal and nice.

I had Billy bookshelf from Ikea but didn't like the depth, it's too far.
I got rid of those and bought Finnby, also from Ikea and like that much better.
