I contacted Sony about it, and they claimed they extended the codes to 12/31/2021 as a "courtesy" to their customers. A lot of good that does me buying the movie in March 2022.
Anyone think there should be a class action lawsuit against companies with digital codes that expire? If they advertised the expiry date on the packaging I wouldn't complain, but it's misleading to advertise a digital copy and then you don't find out it's expired till after you buy the movie and open it.

I think most do advertise the digital copy expiry date. I could be wrong, but I recall seeing these dates in the fine print on the back of the case/cover for movies that advertise a digital copy on the front.
