I'll go with Lynch on this one. I haven't seen a lot of Cronenberg's films (The Fly, Videodrome, Existenz and A History of Violence) and while I really liked them (except Videodrome) they're still nowhere near the films David Lynch has directed, I think. I loved every film I've seen of his.
