Whilst I keep reading that his best works are not included in this set, would you still say that this set would be a good representation of Tavernier's talents as a director, especially for a newbie looking to dip his toe into his filmography? I am quite interested in this set, but don't really want to indulge if the films are somewhat second rate, or average? What are the films outside of this set from Tavernier that are worth tracking down?
